i feel like a lot of it was tacked on to the existing epic tradition. But maybe wasn't something that was told otherwise, because why would they feel the need to connect all those things? It's really quite fascinating to think about when these things changed,. how they changed, how bits got tacked on and added and why. We only have fragments of it, so who knows what was real and what was not. And, but apparently there was some talk of women. Oh, i mean, couldn't it been all good, you know?
