The Origins of the Canon
Trent was the first council to not only affirm these books as canonical scripture, but to put in the Athemah so that you cannot be a Catholic and good standing by denying the canonicity of these books. When it comes to the Orthodox, they rely on the Septuagint like the ancient church did. So their Bible, you know, will include some more books than we do. They also adopted the North African councils. That's where the east actually pronounces something on the cannon.
