Compiler Optimisation

Any optimisicion you get in the hardwarer from the point of view of a hardware vender, has the nice property plying to all the compilers. If you put this optimization in the hardware, then the hard wll have to do it, but maybe there'll be some overhead for doing it in hardware. Some of them, it matters more thes oftemisations. Others, the cost of accising memory and doing garbage collection just overpowers the micro ptumisations that we can get from re ordering instructions and fitting them in.
