The Decline of Farmland in the US

There's 895 million acres of farmland in the US as of 2021. Of that, 389.7 million acres are used for crops and over 50% of those crops are warm and soybean. Most of the corn crop is used domestically as a main ingredient in livestock and livestock feed and ethanol fuel production. The older generation of farmers are producing a lot of the corn and soy and they are not passing those things on to their next of kin.
