Gun Rights - Is That a Good Idea?

Canada's constitution was written in the aftermath of a revolution, with muzzle loaded rifles and musketsa. And gunrights looked very different then. The same was true in the writing of our constitution. It's all bargains struck by people who were extremely far sighted on some issues. But i guess my question is this, i'm watching the same tyranny unfold differently in these places. I don't doubt it myself. We don't have the same history and culture as you, as the americans so we come out from a different way all together.
