Eli Lilly announced it is slashing the price of its most commonly prescribed insulin products by 70% and capping patients out of pocket costs at $35 a month. An estimated 1.3 million diabetic American adults have rationed their supply of insulin because of its high cost. A freight train collided head-on with a passenger train carrying 350 people, killing at least 43 people with 80 more hospitalized. The Greek transportation minister has resigned in the wake of the tragedy.
