"Rogue Warrior," by Dick Marcinco, opened the floodgates for Seavilles' experiences in Vietnam. "For me, this book, I learned so much through the experiences of these individuals," he says. The most important characters were a officer named Pete Peterson and his platoon chief Bob Gallagher. They bootstrapped an intel organization together where they relied on CIA folks to help them find Viet Cong.
