The Perplexing Paradox of Prophetic Perspicacity
Futurist economist Robin Hanson says we will be forced to use human brains as templates for future uploaded, intelligent systems. The one form of intelligence that we know of the human intelligence may be a fluke and that way to create new intelligent beings would be to download versions of living humans. In order to get true AGI, we may have to download promising proto-AIs into little childlike bodies and foster them into human homes. I portray this in my novel existence.
