Gas Prices in Marin County Are Lower Than San Mateo

As long as i can remember, gas prices in marin county have been lower than in san francisco or san mateo counties. As of late, the difference was as much as 60 cents a gallon from the arco station in mill valley to a similar station in san mateo. Why are those differences happening? Well, you don't even have to go county to county where i live. The chevron charges about 60 cents a gallons more than the chevron a ten minute drive away in berkeley.
