BYD's 2022 Annual Report
BYD had a really, really strong year in 2022. They did improve their gross margin more significantly than Tesla did up to 17% from 13%. But what I think is really fascinating here is this net income difference, where on 10 billion of gross profit, they're doing $2.4 billion of net income,. You've got about an $8 billion gap there versus if we look at Tesla on $21 billion of gross Profit. So that suggests that Tesla has pretty significant advantages from an operational type of perspective.
