The Art of Listening to Music

There is a corresponding revolution in music to make it more abstract, right? More like abstract painting because there's something very manipulative. This is why Chopinhauer thought it was this weird... music was this weird case, right? Art in general is supposed to divorce us from the will, but music gets us in touch with the will which turns out to be the thing in itself, the one metaphysical reality. So, any use is that metaphor of listening to music is like looking at your watch while falling from a tower or something like that.
