Sally Kohn: There are certain data sources that are known to be challenging. She says Craigslist will fight you tooth and nail if you take their data without permission. You want to stage how you're using the data in a way so that if you do run into a claim down the road, you can kind of hide your tracks," she says. "I think pragmatically for startups who are resource strapped ... sometimes you need to take a little more risk"
