How to Be an Asian American in the Beauty Industry
Daniel: I've experienced a lot of not overt racism but definitely a lot of microaggressions or whatever it might be. The way that people talked about Asian eyes and Asian lashes and Asian hair just was looking back not really okay, he said. Daniel says Asians do need to speak up for themselves and they do need to be proud of their heritage. He believes the beauty industry needs diversity in order to reach every single customer and client.
