Is Angioembolization the Right First Step?

A paper a few years ago showed that time to definitive angio embolization was on the order of four or five hours. I would rather aim for the 85% of bleeding, which is venous ammonia origin and address that source primarily. If you really have a wide diastasis, it is about trying to close down that pelvic volume a little bit because then your resuscitation of the pelvic space is smaller.
