The Impact of the Collective Bargaining Agreement on Major League Baseball
The rules were all improved by the player feedback that we had. While they weren't unanimously approved, the players voted against some of these rule changes in the players association. We decided we were considered banning that and making lefty step off the way righty is after step off to throw over. And it was just it we didn't think it was worth it. It sort of took a weapon away from left handed pitchers. So we scrapped that.
