The Importance of Revelation

Revelation purges philosophy and provides data odd infinitum were it not for divine revelation. Revelation delivers mankind from that distraction and confusion which discourages all attempts to improve in knowledge. Edwards has pages of demonstrations of this claim some of his evidences are philosophical but the majority of them involve the application of critical reason to the study of history.
