What Is the Point of a Rule That Can Be So Easy to Break?
"I find rules that can be broken without any reprecutions to be very strange," he says. "The nature of rules is that thy're breakable, and the exception proves the rule." In a perfect world, first year wizards shouldn't have a broom because they don't understand the limitations of magic yet, but since harry is so busy doing this, it's going to be the default rule for them.
