Non-duality arose from the activity of duality as a Response to it. The eye which we're asking is Let's say the ego to me. I rather call it the self. So when you see that and that as not you there's space there. There's relief there. If you see the thief as something other than you though what seeing the thief is taken to be you Yeah, becausewhat seeing the thief Is presented as the seer.
