Beth is the youngest woman to have climbed a pitch rated of five point 14, just one point below the highest rating of rock climbing difficulty. Beth met her boy friend, tommy caldwell, in junior climbing school but they really started dating during a month long stay at the base of al capitan in yosemite. She also became friends with singer and john, and where she fell in love with big wall climbing. Now she's a semi pro with a sponsorship from the north face.
