Reporting at the Annual Meeting

Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting is a forum for theatrics, spleen-venting and advocacy of issues. The only business matters that are often limits at the annual meeting are those about which can be my cost or company real money. For us, there are reporting means giving information to our 300,000 partners simultaneously. We therefore put our annual and quarterly financials on the internet between the close of the market on Friday and the following morning.
