i used to walk past this hairdresser every day because it was between the old flat where we used to live and my daughter's school. But since we've moved, i don't walk past them any more. So now i have to go out of my way to walk to that street. And as a result, i haven't practised my french. And so my french is a bit worse, or at least maybe not a bit worse. It's just not better. The time to progress ratio is no good. I feel a little bit embarrassed and ashamed because it's been six months and my french isn't any better. This is the vicious circle. My hair is long
