My Hair Is Long, Because of My French

i used to walk past this hairdresser every day because it was between the old flat where we used to live and my daughter's school. But since we've moved, i don't walk past them any more. So now i have to go out of my way to walk to that street. And as a result, i haven't practised my french. And so my french is a bit worse, or at least maybe not a bit worse. It's just not better.
