The Differences Between Story Arc Series and Episodic Series

"There still is a kind of debate in the community about story arc series versus episodic series," says author. "I find that with my own series I've done both episodic and I've done the one the sci-fi one I'm finishing up this summer almost everyone ends on a cliffhanger like it's a complete story but there's obviously something that has to resolved in the next book" She also talks about how some genres lend themselves more strongly to one than the other, including thrillers where people expect a complete story in each novel.
