Stuart Beale: I wanted to see the progression that Joel had been on. He says there was this us versus the world mentality to everything that had emerged from it. The one good aspect of Jackson, which is the one hopeful piece throughout this entire like kind of like series of just awfulness. And then you go on to see David and you're like, why do people have this clinging urge to restore that world? Because that world enables horrors to exist in it.
