Is Simulation Changing Patient Outcomes?

There are a variety of ways to approach this, different types and you know I think people aren't going to obviously learn all the different pieces of each one. The gold standard is always does it change patient outcomes, right? Patient safety, patient outcomes, are we saving more lives, are we having better outcomes in general for patients? That's the wrong question to be asking because I don't think that any individual educational program or any individual educational method for teaching specifics can actually affect this patient outcome idea. It's not like we're treating diabetes and you give people insulin and they get better. That's patient outcomes. This is way, way more granular than that.
