The Importance of Persistence in Teaching

I was an actually an adjunct professor at Portland Community College and at Oregon Institute of Technology as well. I realized that looking back on my career now multiple decades, I think I'm a teacher, not a software engineer even though I've done more software engineering than teaching. And ultimately problem solving is what getting these graduate degrees and writing books and teaching people is all about.
