Is EM More Prepared for Liquidity Crisis?
For now the Federal Reserve has made commitments to a number of countries. It's the countries that are outside that system, which have bigger problems. They're going to sell in their stock of pressure, if they're reserves. And that creates a price impact in various markets. Right now I think they're managing, but if there is a big sort of demand for cash, as for example in the UK, basically you've got must-selling.
