The song went to number one on the R&B charts, and made its way into the top 30 on the pop charts. It's also influenced a young piano player and arranger named Ray Charles. But it's not as good as the stuff Domino was doing with Bartholomew. Lou Chud tried to get our Jung to get Dave Bartholomew back, working with Domino again,. but Bartholomew just slammed the phone down on Jung. He didn't need Imperial records, he didn't need Fats Domino, and he certainly didn't need Art Jung.
