The Importance of Friendship

I almost felt like I was being forced to choose um and I chose God kind of all the way through secondary school. When some of my friends when one of my you know my best friend Luke did actually eventually tell me he was gay while we were at secondary school. We hung around with a few other people who you know also ended up being gay, so it's no coincidence that we sort of all found each other at school. It can be such a unifier and such a bridge builder when you have someone with radically different values in other ways hearing each other talk about your families is one of my favorite like peace-building reconciliation moves.
