There is no substitute for interval walking. To have a healthy back, you must walk not a mile a day or two hours in the afternoon. Walk at lunch, breakfast and dinner, and just go out for a quick 20 minute walk. That's the healthiest thing you can do for your back. And then, of course, after that, you build a spine suited to your body - whether you're 70 or whether you're 20. Ano, tha, that's it in a nutshell.
