How to Scale a Distributed Database
When we say distributed data, when we're talking about, okay, I've got one physical machine with 15 terabytes, but now I have 20 terabytes of data. So I need like a second physical machine. And also, if you do that, you can charge your data statically and figure out two postgres for different users. But companies that have a petabyte of data, they tend it tends to be because their data keeps growing.
