South Africa's Position on the War on Terrorism

One country voted against resolution irt and there was a real broad split between these countries. Many of the ones that abstained abstain because they either have quite close relationships with russia or are very close to china, who famously also abstained. South africa's position was itself complicated. They put out its own, their own statement about about the decision. But one of the things that struck me through all this is that increasingly, as since the vote, we've seen chine, the chinese position, starting to develop into a kind of third position.
