The Coup of Catalyne

The conspiracy of Catalyne was an instant legend in Roman history, both through the central role played by Cicero and because it provided a blueprint for how not to organize a coup. With the inside men gone the whole plot quickly imploded. There will probably be no episode next week as I'm scheduled to fly to visit the history of Roman laws for what they call Christmas.
