Shell Is a Big Company With a Lot of Money, and So's Its Partner
Many environmentalists and scientists are very sceptical about thw plans to do. A significant part of shell's global plan involves offsetting 120 million tons of carbon omissions per year by planting trees, reforestation and otherwise naturally sequestering carbon. So where do you land then, on whether this acquisition is a good thing? Is it realistic to think that a company like shell would be leaning away from fossil fuels towards renewables in any sort of large scale way?
