The Role of Behavior Science in Governments

Professor David Halpin is chief executive of the behavioral insights team of the UK government and a special adviser at the Department for Work and Pensions. He has helped bring science of behavior into white hole, into the other corridors of power. The first early intervention was around timely payment of taxes in the UK. It's one of those places where you actually really see government leading on this around the world.
