PLS Isn't Meant to Be Sheep's Kin, Right?
PLS isn't meant to be sheep's kin, although Vold really wanted it to be this thing that does some of the same stuff as SEM, but maybe under different restrictions. I don't think that people necessarily should say, well, I'm doing SEM unless I can't. And there's a whole PLS methodological community is developing these methods and trying to get them incorporated into existing software. There's a lot of cool stuff that's going on.
