Buses Are Less Efficient Than Subways

I don't really have too many concerns around a massive shift of ridership from subways to buses. I've seen, I've heard estimates of around bus riders making on average $30,000 a year. If you are trying to ensure that you are providing relief to the New Yorkers who need it most in the time of crushing inflation, the bus is the most obvious place to start.
