Kwame Kilpatrick: The Youngest Mayor of Detroit

In 2001 Kwame Malik Kilpatrick was elected mayor of Detroit, Michigan. At 31 years old he became the youngest mayor in the history of the city. He offered a new set of eyes for new problems and the citizens of Detroit had reason to believe him. We're not going to solve 21st century problems with yesterday's solutions it's time for a change. I fought to expand safe school programs and brought dollars home to help create jobs in Detroit.
