Webb's Observation of the Infared Array of Galaxies

Webb is deliberately looking in the infar red to see things that are very distant. The majority of light they produced back in the early universe has been shifted into the infared and so you needr infera telescope to be able to see it properly. One of the images that came out yesterday has just exactly that going on. It's looking very far back. Some of them look really distorted and walked out of shape, so they look a bit weird. But because of that gravitational lensing, we're able to see things much further and smaller than we would normally. Is is it called smacks, smacks? Zero, seven, two, three. I think it's cool
