How to Design a Tracheal Dilator
Trying to coordinate all of that, and thinking about stuff at the same time is far too much for me. So thankfully, we're not going to talk about those really complicated tracheal dilators. We're just talking about tracheal bougie tubes. Personally, I like to come in from the patient's right, because that's where I'll be standing if I'm doing the operator two or airway assistant role. But then when you're there, use the hand which matches the side of the patient you're on. You've got to mentally model it.
