"I've seen it destroy so many people that I've now kind of look at it and go, man, I don't think people should drink," he says. "It ends up ruining a lot of people's lives and they make bad decisions and they do stupid things." The culture is moving away from that a little bit in the Navy SEAL teams, where alcohol was still very much part of life. He credits hardcore music for helping him get back to his roots: "We can just make this happen for ourselves ... We don't need anybody else".
