In the 1980s before the collapse of communism there was a conference of economists held somewhere behind the Iron Curtain. One particular group had four people who had all met at a panel. The idea of using convention is going to be conditioned on culture. And so the question that we started out in the letter about the conventional wisdom, not all of those will travel very well because they're culturally and socially determined.
