Introduction

Hephaestus is a blacksmith to the gods, or one of the 12 olympians. He was abandoned by his mother after she found out how ugly he was. Hephaestus discovered his passion for metal metallurgy on the island of lemnos. The god used his skills to make a golden throne for the queen of mount olympus. It was elegant and majestic, totally something new in greek mythology.
