I heard this for the first time from the church's lawyer in the scott case. Andian i've read everything i can about, i've never read about the clean slate doctrine. But he goes on to say that they believe that a man who has sinned and repented, no matter how horrible the sin, must be restored to his prior positions. I mean, that is sort of wha, what they're saying here. Child sexual abuse has been a crime under church law for millennia. No, it's abhorrent. It's wrong. It's sinful, criminal. So we have to believe in his words, because those are the words of god.
