A Study of Stress in the Classroom

Psychologist Henry Murray studied how people deal with difficult interactions. He modeled the study on psychological assessments he had developed for spies in World War II. Students were asked to write out their personal philosophy of life and then debate another student. The students sweated and shouted as they struggled to defend their ideals.
