How to Prepare for a Marathon

The day before the marathon we suggest running anywhere from about one to three miles easy. This will just help to promote blood flow to your legs and I think it really does help you relieve your nerves a little bit. It also stimulates your central nervous system which will enable your legs to respond a lot better the following morning. Carly that is the tapered that we have all of our runners connect members. Go buy and it's a tapered that really does work for most runners obviously everyone is different. Some people prefer a two week taper some people prefer even more than three weeks. But this one is on average very, very successful and I hope it helps you at the next time around.
