The New Testament and the Revolutionary Jesus

The Lord of the Rings is kind of like the Gospels and the New Testament because so we'll put together and things come together, but if you don't read the Summarillion, which gives you kind of the Old Testament creation, foundation stories, typology, you don't get all the oomph. You just miss so much richness that the Bible has to offer. And by the same token, as we read the Messianic typology, the sacrificial system and all of these things as they're coming to a head in the person and work of Jesus,. at least from a Christian perspective, Passion Week.
