Octavian and the Triumpant

Antony was left to pick up the baton dropped by crassus and julius caesar. Octavian, meanwhile, was left with the unenviable task of demobilizing tens of thousands of veterans. While antony went off to play conquering hero, octavian was left to play bureaucratic dunce.
