Is There a Future for Philosophy and Theoretical Physics?

You get trained to understand things in such a way that you could do research on them. So i'm not going to be satisfied with, you know, words that sound like i understand it. I really need to understand it well enough to think that i could sort of use the ideas myself at a research level. The kinds of problems that i think are most interesting at this intersection are a questions where our physics knowledge needs clarification,. There's plenty of ideas like that in cosmology, in quana mechanics, and entropy and so forth.
