In our series, travels with mike, we're retracing parts of the journey that nobel prize winning rider, john steinbeck took in the fall of 19 60. Steinbeck went on a three months driving tour just as john kennedy was being elected the 30 fifth president of the united states. In each place, i teamed up with a local artist of some sort to show me around and respond to steinbeck across the generations.
