"I don't think a kid coming of age in a modern environment can really grasp not only the weight of how hard it was to find access to music," he says. "There's a huge unspoken merit of again, we probably both had this same experience where, you know, you'd go to the record store Tuesdays or where like when they would get new 12 inches in the hip hop 12 inches." He adds: "You're going to do it for money. Now you're like, that's it. I need to get something out of this because I'm down this for 15 bucks"
